Stephen Hill, a 30 year old porn actor, is allegedly behind the rampage at a video production studio. Hill is said to have used a machete – style weapon to kill one person and wound two others. The rampage took place at 10:30 pm at the distribution business on Hayvenhurst Avenue and Saticoy Street. According to LAPD Det. Joel Price said Hill was working and living at the offices of Ultima DVD Inc. Price went on to comment that Hill had been employed to do both production work and act for the company. On the night of the alleged attack, Hill was facing the distinct possibility of eviction and job loss.
According to witness accounts, Hill fled the scene in a blue Toyota RV4 with the license plate of 5YTC423. There were a total of seven individuals in the office space at the time of the attack. All three victims of Mr. Hill’s (alleged) wrath were rushed to a local hospital where one was pronounced dead upon arrival.
