Palin is unhappy that author, Joe McGinnis, rented the house next door while penning a book about the sometimes politician. McGinnis states that he is merely interviewing the people of Wasilla that have known the family for years & could care less about what they do in the privacy of their own home. Palin has accused McGinnis of gathering information while overlooking the family’s “swimming hole”, etc. Palin has taken to her facebook page proclaiming varying innuendoes regarding the author. The only one being vocal about the incident has been Palin. McGinnis broke his silence briefly on the Today show. The 67 year stated that they things that Palin is accusing him of are “creepy” and his is in no way creepy of engaging in creepy acts.
McGinnis typically write about true-crime, and has been receiving death threats from right-wing media outlets due to Palin's incessant rantings on the popular social networking site. Palin’s tactic have been compared to those used by the Nazi’s during their propaganda campaigns. There have yet to be any police reports surface regarding this matter, no has Palin made any (true) indications that her family is in danger. Mr. Palin has been silent during this entire ordeal & in a recent interview, Bristol Palin made no mention of the matter.
The one question missing from this equation is’ “What does Palin need to hide?” After the release of her own book, her daughters countless interviews and recent photo shoots and her grandson’s father’s tirades left nothing for America to discover about the ‘Rogue’ Alaskan. Could all of this drama playing out on Palin’s facebook page, just a smoke screen or a way to remain a ‘hot topic’? Could it be that Palin truly does (still) intend to run for the ultimate office in our next major election? Only time will tell.
